Here We GO,
So I have been a Member of Atsromech.net for many years, I've had my R2's at many events that also included Wall-E's, from the popular builders of the little guy, I have built several R2's and loving the Wall-E, I decided to jump in. I have never been a fan of the Yahoo groups, not because of the members but because of the way the forum is layed out, Astromech.net is awesome a friendly build sight and easy to navigate, so I have built all my Droid through that sight, So wanting to build a Wall-E the only place to go for help is the Yahoo Wall-E builders group. Some help but just not enough interest for it to move to a different level, so I decided to go at it alone, which is turning out to be super satisfying, since everything I do regarding my Wall-E will be a complete scratch build. First In my opinion the builders groups Wall-E's are the wrong size, I have studied Tons of reference and keeping in mind that WALL-E IS A CARTOON, there are many reference pieces to go from for his size. First and for most is the Igloo cooler he is carrying around, that was my main size reference prop. So that is what I am going off of. To Start I am Building from the ground up, a Foundation is where you need to start not the head or Eyes, he needs to drive first.
So I did some research to get a solid, reliable Drive System, and found this Snow Blower Drive:

So Next step was to Cut down and customize the frame work to mount my NPC motors, these are the same motors I use on my R2s, so wanted to stick with a familiar motor. Also Drilled out a bunch of the main drive wheels to lose some weight.
