Wat do the percentages on the poll mean, shouldn't the total 22 items total 100%??

Or am i just being thick??

I'll definitely buy the book and the canister. I'd love to buy the assault rifle since it's my favorite weapon next to the Arc Generator, but that depends on the quality of the Arc Generator (still not sure if they can deliver a quality product and especially paintjob made in china, I hope they'll surprise me) and my wife's reaction to the size of the Arc Generator :rolleyes

The Exo-Suit also got my vote, but that will heavily depend on the price. The dropship didn't get my vote since it isn't too high on my priority list, but I'd be in if it looked nice and the price was right.

It would be 100% in total if everyone got only one vote, but since you can vote for multiple items the percentage simply reflects how many of the total participants voted for a specific item.

Damn! I only voted for 1 item thinking that's all you can vote for.

BTW, Weta, some of us might appreciate a second edition of the Arc gun, because we didn't get one the first time. If you'd like to 'legitimize' the second edition and avoid offending owners of the first edition, I'd suggest the 2nd. ed. be done in a different paint scheme. Which I'm sure you've thought of already. I'm just thinking out loud.

Also, I'd like to know what sort of replicas your license does and doesn't cover. There seem to be a goodly amount of people around here who'd like a replica Wikus MNU ID :rolleyes Perhaps if it were bundled with a collection of MNU paperwork and patches, or cat food and South African tabloid magazines, the 'bundle' would have wide appeal and a reasonable ... margin. However, if you do not hold a license for cloth patches or printed paper materials, please tell us; in order to nip in the bud public speculation and expectations, before they become wildly irrational.

Warmest regards, and thanks, and absolutely no sarcasm at all intended, respectfully,

-Mike J.

Dear weta,
Don't tell the other RPF members that I PMed you -
Please post more images of the Drop Ship - so I can make the master patterns for you.

Fuel Canister & Prawn Hand are the money makers (IMO) & get my votes of what was listed.

OH! ...and you weta guys are nutz if you doin't make & offer the Prawn Mech Suit in 1/6th scale.
That alone will finance the sequel 'District 10' (oh yeah, It's Coming!)

:confused This isn't a PM! Oooops!!!

I just got a close look at the Alien Helmet.
Although I don't generally collect helmets,
I might have to add this one to my list.

It basically got no screen time in the final cut. :( Greg Broadmore was surprised to hear it had been filmed at all.

It's a really cool lid. Trumps absolutely every Prequel helmet, IMO.

I have to agree on the helmet, very happy to have given it a vote. Hopefully it will be produced at some point:thumbsup

19 and 21, please for the love of god.

Weapons are cool and all, but a film succeeds or fails on the characters.

Weta did a great job on their Narnia and Kong books. It's time for a third! But if they do it, they need to make sure it's of similar thickness...

From a business standpoint here are my suggestions:

Making of book: easy to outsource, do small run and reprint if demand is high. Think an E-Book that is down loadable through Itunes perhaps.

Exosuit in 1/12 scale: 1/6 scale would be a little to big and pricey.

Fluid canister: crowd favorite and small to please the budget conscious.

Then do whatever 1/1 scale gun is most popular.

Something for everybody:thumbsup
