Visionaries

Hi Guys,
So, I have settled on attempting a costume out of Foam Mats of Leoric from the Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light.
I thought it would be a super simple design for a first time working with foam. And yeah it looks simple enough. BUT I am running into an issue with pattern making. Sizing mostly.
I am a bit on the hefty side for one and two I have never done anything of this magnitude before. I got the symbol frame sized the way I wanted it but now I cannot for the life of me wrap my head around the shoulder armor. Especially the curved part.
Does anyone have any ideas that might help make figuring this thing out easier?
I have not seen a pepakura of ANY visionaries characters anywhere so using that as a basis is impossible.

Oh man. I remember this show! Looking forward to your build! Perhaps you could use cardboard mockups to figure the scale?

I agree, use cardboard to "mock up" the armor. You can tweek it until you get how you like it. Then you can use the cardboard as a template to do it in foam or another material for final.
