So, anyway... about this Batman movie - I'm curious to know how long after TDK this will take place. In fact, I'm still uncertain how long it was between Begins and TDK. It seems like about a year but then Gordon's kid has aged several years. I think that was just an oversight though.
You nailed it, Larry. Emma's cute, Kristin's okay. Would you say no to either? Probably not. But you'd walk over hot coals for Anne.
Carsten, I love you too buddy. :lol Hey, I've been a Connelly diehard since "Labyrinth", 'kay? I do still put her ahead on talent and possibly on brains too (I'll be honest here, I've not seen or read any interviews with Ms Hathaway. Ms. Connelly does come across as a thinker.) And hell, looks too, marginally. But expressive girls, man - one of them is worth a hundred cool as ice cookie-cutter blondes. Girls with mobile faces just light up the room.
Hathaway scores big time there.
Edit: also, global warming, sheesh. I have a bet each way, I've said it a million times. I'm choosing to argue the pro-AGW side because it looks ahead on points from where I'm standing. But I've posted some science articles that point the opposite way too. Nobody will be happier than me if it turns out to be a beatup, and I have the water bills to prove that.

But Nolan knows what he's doing... so even though I find his choice odd... he may have the talent to convince me with the performance. Though, doubtful.

I'm MUCH more worried about how in the heck their gonna do Bane than how hot Catwoman is.
I just don't think he's a good Batman villian for the big screen. I was hoping for the Riddler.

How cool would be it if this latest rumor is true? Robin Williams as Hugo Strange! One could argue that he is a more entertaining dramatic actor than he is as a comedian, and he would bring the perfect amount of manic psychosis needed for the role! I really hope this rumor is true.

I don't mean to poop on thegreatgalling's choice, but I can't speak to Ashley Greene at all, other than I had to goog her to get her credits and I find her Beverly Hills plastic surgeon nose-fix to be a bit off-putting. But I allow that at my decrepit age modern standards of beauty may have me passed as I've never seen a Twilight film and the actors contained within are younger than some pants I regularly sport.
I like a woman in my entertainments who looks like she can alternately clean up for a chi-chi event and will also strap on the plow when the cows get sick, you know? Ashley Greene looks like she wouldn't know how to turn on the dishwasher, and Anne Hathaway looks (to me, at least) like she'd be able to take a punch and deliver back four more, with a quip.
Really, her work in Get Smart is overlooked.

I agree with that idea. If you've actually seen him in Insomnia (one of the two better Nolan films I like) and One Hour Photo, you know he's can pull off being a very excellent villain.

RW is awesome forever as he bought one of the original 144 Astronauts in Trouble T-shirts from me and wished me luck. I was able to turn him on to and sell him his first Transmetropolitan at Comix Experience, so I feel I sort of returned the favor.
