New Post button Filter?

Is there a way to filter the new posts? I usually don't care for the off topic discussions, is there a way to only get the new posts from the other areas.

Is there a way to just view "todays posts" or "New Posts" in only a particular forum? I get 14+ pages a day of "Todays Posts" and upwards of 20 pages at least of "New Posts" every tim I log in. It takes forever to sift through all the stuff I am not currently looking to check up on just to find the few nuggets of interest in one particular sub forum. I.E. not really wanting to sit through all of the OT or Junkyard threads tonight but do want to see all the new posts to the Replica Props threads. Any way to have a better filter installed?

This has been asked before (other than the two I just merged), and even though I can't find, I am pretty sure that the answers is that it is not part of the vBulletin software as it stands now. We will be upgrading to the newest version of vBulletin, but I will have to check if there is an option/hack for filtering the "Today's Posts/New Posts" selection.
