Videogame Gun conversion project - input wanted!

I found an old Namco Playstation Gun on the attic, it does not work, but I thought maybe I could make a nice movie gun from it (I think not), or maybe a cool Sci-Fi gun...

So anyone got an idea, what I can make from this gun? Maybe a gun from a videogame or any science fiction movie?

Any help is welcome...

Btw: This is the gun (the grey one)

Hm... I tried to find something that looks like this gun from different videogames like resident evil, metal gear solid, dead space or something, but got no luck...

the dredd gun got different lines, I have to fill the complete gun and recreate the typical pattern of the gun... We'll see... After all, Im not the biggest Judge Dredd Fan, so maybe I find another movie- or gamegun...

Although it kind of hurts me to see a good ol´ video game gun converted, I am curious to see what you can get out of that! Actually gave me an idea for an afternoon prop project

I took the liberty to change your thread title to something more elaborate, to help attract the right crowd I am probably robbing you of the price for shortest thread title, ( a three letter title is really hard to beat !) but I think more attention is worth it.

Second that, with an added suppressor, a few holes filled and fill a part at the end of the slide. And optionally make the triggerguard thinner, and it's a SOCOM.

there was a lawgiver conversion done on the grey one you have. The orange one always reminded me of the Blade Runner Blaster.

The orange one is not the problem... I just want to convert the grey one...

Thanks... I thought it will be a short thing to convert it, so I just need a short thread, but it looks like it will be a project for the snowy days before X-mas...

Yes, I would still use this gun, but as I said, it doesn't work anymore, and this gun is too cool to sort it out...

Thanks for the ideas... The MGS socom is a good idea... maybe I search for a while, if there is something better out...

With a lot of work a plasma cutter is possible, too:

I think the plasma cutter is more attractive for display then a MGS gun...

I think I try to search a little bit the movie weapon databse, if I find something what looks familar to a gun from a movie, where I have a few props...
