Let me do some testing on it and see. As I mentioned previously I did notice that if you put in the default anchor text of the url sometimes it picked up a site title and sometimes it didn't. Will do a bit more research and see.

Out of curiosity, what it is specifically that you are concerned about with the site title being pulled in for the anchor text?

Sometimes the title is index or sometimes it is 3 lines long. And I don't like it parsing my stuff, I put in a title for the link, I want the title I used not what it thinks it should be. Or sometimes I just want a link, no text.

Yes, two of the three links I inserted into posts yesterday pulled in their own anchor text when I had already inserted my own.

I typed it all out like this:

[url=http://myli.nk]Click here![\url]

and

[url=http://myli.nk]http://myli.nk[\url]

Once was the member's map I linked in Clutch's thread in the OT and the other firefox start page link in the google background thread. I don't see a 3rd link that I posted yesterday, so the one that I'm thinking worked ok may have been the image I posted in the Sesame Street Slayer thread.
