Thanks ;)

I made this mace a couple of years back. I never made it into a kit, but have considered it a few times...

It is only seen for a few seconds just before Van Helsing knocks her out with sleeping gas.

Very nice.
I remember the hand with the stake, but I wasn't sure that it was a mace... Weird :)
Again, good work. ;)

I have the map corner as a paper prop that I made before I joined the RPF. let me see if I can find it on my pc...

yeah here we go:

please don't sell it, yada yada, you know the drill

I just put it in a ppt document and made it big enough through trial and error and then printed it our on parchment paper bought at staples.

How about this piece from the new movie...

This was made by a Hollywood FX artist for Universal Studios. This was his personal copy though...1 of 2

Rumored

Tell us more, here is what I got from a quick google search.

From countingdown...

Rumored..
Who's in it? Hugh Jackman
What's it about? Gabriel Van Helsing, holy assassin of things that go bump in the night, returns to battle more monstrous foes. Beware the slimy Creature from the Black Lagoon, a devious Invisible Man, and more.

This resemble my fictional idea for a sequel, with a prologue against the creature of the black lagoon, and then a evil masterplan developed by James Moriarty aka Jack the ripper (well, in this fictional universe), who's trying to destroy the Vatican with his army of golems (created with the parts "taken" from the murdered prostitutes in London), because...
Hmmm, probably I've tell you too much... :D

If I remember well, some time ago I've seen a nice pair of "tojo blades" here... Am I wrong? (The spinning saw-like weapon he use during the movie)
And also someone was trying to make the crossbow... So...
Any news on these props? :D

Gee, what did the Creature do to deserve being hunted by VH? :( But then again, the Mummy was just a guy looking for love (in all the wrong places) and he got a bad reputation too. :p

A buddy of mine is making a sword for a gal who is doing a Anna Valerious costume - in the words of Quagmire, "Alllrighhhhhht."

Well, I don't have any info on fan made props. I do know somehting van helsing related was on ebay recently, a resin casting of a grappling gun.

But I do have some pictures of weapons from press pics, and web pics.

My understanding is all the weapons were custom made, even this revolvers, which I don't know the base gun, but suspect they were not real guns at all and the muzzle flashes CGI.

At the very least, you can get a Denix replica of the schofield.

I hate the movie, but I love what they tried to do, and I do love the props. Kinda like I-robot. :lol

EDIT: Found the pic from the auction.

Anyone here buy this sucker??

I can kill for a wall covered with all the weapons of Van Helsing... :D

At the top I will put the crossbow, surrounded by a couple of stakes (the wood one and the metal one...), then the tojo blades, the guns and finally the grappling gun and the cross...
I've a lot of references, unfotunately my "technical skills" aren't so good... ;)

One question: do you know where the trenchcoat is now? It's probably one of the best leather trenchcoats of the movie history... :D

That pistol reminds me of an automatic revolver made by Webley. Mostly because of the diagonal grooves in the cylinder I guess. Maybe the propmaster liked that feature and incorporated it into the design. Here's what I'm talking about:

Interesting, the cylinder looks very similar...

Wow, that does look really close. I wouldn't be surprised if the prop master was familiar with this webley. Hell maybe he even used pieces of it, or based the prop on this revolver. If we had a clear pic of it . . .

:unsure

Yes, please post the tojo blades. :D
