Custom Macrobinoculars using Kodak Scopemeter. Anyone have any teardown experience?

So got this gorgeous looking Scopemeter in to convert to a custom macro set and looking to see if any one has torn one down before and any advice things to watch out for etc

well one lesson learned. This tray and the film bumper has to stay or you need to figure a new way to lock the cover on. The cover latch has a fork that grasps the flat head screw on the bumper seen center just behind the front section.

Got all the guts out and test fabbing a view screen. Planning to use magnets inside both viewer screen and the rear panel so I can still remove the back of the camera if needed.

Going to try to rig up a screen with led inside might do a simple 3v led set with a momentary switch all self contained to the view screen
