Wow...with Rage against the Machine playing Coachella, The Smashing Pumpkins announcing thier first tour dates in Germany and the much rumored Police tour...this may well be the year of the improbable reunion....

yes van halen isnt van halen without dave. i was all stoked about the reunion untill they anounced the new news about it. apparently its gonna be a reunion with dave and sammy hagar both in the same show. thats gonna suck bad i dont even want to see sammy in the band solo i like hagar but not in van halen. and eddies sone wolfgang on bass is just stupid a bunch of 50 year old men on stage with a 15 year old bass player. i dont care how good he is i dont even want to pay to see that. either get micheal back on bass or get billy sheehan the guy they originaly wanted.

The upcoming tour and the hall of fame induction are two seperate events. Hagar just happens to be getting inducted as well so for one night, there will be this wierd Hagar/Dave/Van Halen thing.....as for the rest of the tour...I hear you about the whole Michael thing, but he cant stand David Lee Roth. Hmmm, Billy Sheehan? ...good call!

yeah from what i heard it is gonna be a sammy dave combination on the whole tour. if it is i wont be spending my money on it. like i said i love sammy solo but not in van halen.
For chrissake! I knew it was just too godamn good to be true to have this without added ******** tacked on.

well carl we can hope all the added crap doesnt come with it. anonther thing im concerned with though is one of the reasons sammy left the last time is eddie was trying to charge a minum of 200.00 a pop for tickets to there shows. and im shure with david back in the mix hes definatly gonna want to charge those kind of prices. i hope they get all the crap worked out and say to heck with sammy and try to get micheal to come back i thought it was eddie that hated dave not him. i still think its gonna look silly with ed's 15 year old son on stage with them.

David Lee Roth sang in the band "Van Halen" for a while in the 1980's. Followed by Sammy Hagar. I don't much care for "Diamond Dave."
An absolutely phenominal guitarist... but a douche of a human being.
