Vader Dome Question

Hey experts...I am redoing a Rubies Vader Supreme Helmet. Yea...old news I know, but there are a couple things I am stuck on. I've looked at so many great threads regarding the Rubies Mod, but nothing I have seen speaks specifically about how to make the dome sit better. I noticed most people cut the piece off that holds the dome on and re-attach it elsewhere. But I heard someone say there is no cutting required. I'm trying to use my EFX and Don Post Deluxe as reference, but still can't get past these couple hurdles.

Also...the notches on the nose bridge I have used a round file to do. I still have to work on them, but I can't figure out how to get that connection seam just below the last notch that appears to connect the nose piece to the bridge.

I know I have a long way to go....but any help would sure be appreciated.

you cant re-position the dome properly without either cutting off the existing mounts completely...or...heating up the area around the dome mount till its soft enough to force it into the desired position ( top of the mask will look severely deformed with the dome off), and you'd have to do it several times since memory of the plastic will try to revert to the original shape.

for my modification on the Rubies helmet , I did a piece to hold the dome to the mask.
