Vader anh fx convertion to esb-rotj saber

Hello im new in the forum;

I recently bought a darth vader hasbro force fx lightsaber from a new hope, to converted to a esb-rotj saber hero or replica saber for my rotj vader display im making.

The story was that a gentlemen auctioned this saber on ebay because the emitter was broken and the saber didn`t work. I said that`s cool by me because i don`t want the saber to work neither. I bought very cheap, 40 dollars exactly with free shiping.

First a new emitter was going to be made. So because the deal was to make a prop, i went to a to a local shop to make this iron emitter and i think it went pretty good.


Obviously the saber it`s not finished yet i need to dismantle the whole tube, but it`s a start.

Yeah my friend, hope to make a cool piece.

Right now im dismantling the hilt and is a pain in the *****.

Trying to get all the electronics out, has been tedious.

Not to much progress cus im making the vader display also, but still taking all of the electronics out of this tube, was a battle on hell it self hehehe.

But now a good clean tube! (eddie murphy voice)

After quite some time and a lot things in my life, i finished the saber and here it is. I was going to make a ROTJ saber but i ended up making the new hope one. I made a custom base for it and also i made the plate. i know is not 100 % screen accurate but im ok on how it turned out.
