Just thought I'd post this since I havent been active here lately. I've been doing some work on my Knightmare and standard Batman that is sort of my own interpretation of the Dawn of Justice version. Differences are the cowl. I haven't fully warmed up to the Batfleck cowl yet. Yes I believe he will do a phenomenal job as Batman but I just don't like the stubby ears of the nose a lot. Maybe with time I'll change my mind but I'm also not a fan of the wide Bat emblem either. It's alright but sometimes it appears too big to me, So I'm using my comic cowl and Arkham style emblem for now. I did try my best to replicate the belt though. I used the cigarette box and rivet technique. Got the tubes from 2 flashlights I found at Walmart and added a foam buckle. I've also got a foam undersuit on underneath, just made from EVA foam muscles glued a sleeveless underarmor shirt. I've decided not to use a leather coat for the Knightmare Batsuit simply because i didnt want to fork out the cash for one, only to ruin it by distressing it, so I just use an old cloth trench coat I had lying around, which has been sloshed with mud, sand, and paint, shot at with some .22 and 9mm rounds just to make authentic holes and I've trimmed up the bottom to have more of Batman's signature scallops since it was too short anyway, and it helps to make it look like the "Knightmare" might be even more real. I also made the gauntlets from EVA foam and installed zippers into them and added real dirt and sand to the goggles. So how's it look?
