A tear in the leather would not go through that vertical pocket. It would stop at the stitching or travel along it.
Unless it wasn't a stress tear, but a sword or something...

Something about it I don't like. Not sure what yet, but it's not my favorite poster ever. It's not terrible though. I am so hopeful that they don't mess this up. I guess they're getting a lot of lower-cost actors for heroes so they can afford RDJ for The Avengers :lol

I agree. I don't think the text is needed. In fact, "The First Avenger" isn't needed for the film, because EVERYONE is going to be saying "Let's go see Captain America"
I think the poster would be 100x better without the text. And I wish he had his helmet on. But even still, I'm probably gonna buy the poster when it's available. :lol

You know what? I think it would have looked a little better if he was looking up toward the sky, since Cap is supposed to be all optimistic. Seems like Hollywood thinks every character needs to look brooding and emo to make a audiences believe a film is supposed to be dramatic and gripping.

i love the belt buckle....yeah yeah, i know. it is a buckle, but it has a rocketeer feel to it. I am pretty sure it will open up the same way..two side buttons and listen to that baby snap....
