I think it's to imply the mandibles all move independently from one another. Why does everyone feel they should line up?
[/b]

I think in some photos from the side it looks like the mandable is out of line too much - but front on it looks good.

Looking forward to more pics.... :love

Are Elmstudios planning a suit or is this as far as the P1 goes?

:confused :eek

Whoa, this head looks so real it's scary. Love it. :D

I'm really into those busts and statues thing and I'm amazed with what I've seen around here so far. Great job.

Update. :)

Hello and thanks everyone

Sorry for the little delay, been really busy with other projects for customers.

But here are the final photos of the Predator head and on the Bio helmet.

Enjoy

You had to get a cramp in your finger spraying that many dots. :)
[/b]

Thanks alot everyone, I am really happy how this Predator head turned out.

Clutch, yes I couldn´t feel my fingers for a while after :lol

I have seen a lot of predator heads on this board painted by a lot of very talented people, but I have never seen one that truly captures the look seen in the movie. There has always been a certain "realism" that is missing. This paintjob captures the movie look PERFECTLY. EXCELLENT job.

I like how the damage to the head was used to give character to the Predator instead of just filled and removed. The unevenness of the tusks are also interesting, as that is also rarely seen. Love the battle damaged look to the whole thing, very authentic. :thumbsup

Looked at these photos a few times they are so good. But want to ask if there are visible casting seams running the length of a number of the dreads or is just my eyes?
