UK Prop Party - confirmed 19th 20th November

We could all hop in Phil's Falcon and shoot over. I went to CIII and to be honest it was a let down aside from the Irvin K talk and Family Guy Star Wars first look. THe prop and costume display wasn't as good as ours :lol

Be worth it just to have a fight with LFL Lawyers :lol

so is celebration not worth going to then, i always thought there was a con there too similar to comic con ??

Some favourite bits:

Catfood Rob: Master of disguse. A gaggle of Simons :lol Techoviking - what a guy! The RPF Jack Harkness society - squareness guns for all! The Steven Moffatt and Mattt Smith are rubbish Collective - love you guys :thumbsup Supa 'Hold everything I'm waiting for Darth Vader!' Troop, Phil and his amazing quiet modesty, Australasian stick insects...

What a great day! Wish we could have been there for both. Many thanks to Simon for all his hard work and for making us feel so welcome. So many RPF members visited over the course of the day, and the sense of pride from all of them at seeing the RPF presence at the show was fantastic.

Trying not to duplicate everyone else's photos too much...

Everyone was keeping an eye on Birdie's guns...

All of Fettster's work was astonishing and really drew the crowds. I actually saw people trying to get Christopher Reeve to blink. (and what a gent - only mentioning to me as we packed up that he was completely freaked out by bugs, after sharing space with my Indy's insects display the entire day!).

Maybe not the most accurate Vader, but he was good with the crowd.

Great Pictures

i have to ask a general Question here that i hope someone can answer

Is Knightjars actual living Prop a first for the RPF ????? and did anyone take any more pictures of it ?

Wow what a brilliant effort by the UK RPF. The displays look top drawer and seems like everyone had a great time :thumbsup

I am gutted I couldn't attend. Next time maybe?

Great stuff.

Cheers Chris

I'd like to say how much Lindsay and I enjoyed the weekend and we were so pleased to have been part of this event. The RPF and TDH should be proud of their displays that showed off the talent of the prop builders involved.
It was also a great opportunity to get to know and chat with forum members. There are too many names to mention but SiMan and Rob were great company.
My particular thanks go to Simon - Supatroop- who did such an excellent job in organizing the event which was truly memorable.

It was a pleasure to have you there Brian and as i keep saying the event could not have been possible without Si and Rob and the rpf members for showing off their talents

Hi Everyone

My name is Paul and I am the organiser of the MCM Expo & MEMORABILIA events.

I would like to thank everyone for all of their hard work at MEMORABILIA this past weekend and the excellent work that was shown.

I am sorry that I could not make it over very much, only about twice but enjoyed and appreciated everything that I saw.

I look forward to hopefully working with you all in the future and helping to publicise the RPF and in tandem add a further interesting and interactive element to our events.

Once again Thank You.

Paul

Great to hear!

Whilst i was tied up with work for this event, i am definitely up for anything else that might come along as long as it's not a million miles away.

Now you'll need to tell me, why not collectormania?, not because i have an invested interest, mainly because i am a nosey git!

The Post above this one is the Explanation you need.

Paul and the Team at Expo have given us our big break and by the sounds of it are glad to have us back on a regular basis.

In light of this and i'm sure everyone will agree we should and will remain loyal to Paul and the EXPO Team.

I am thoroughly impressed with your Prop Party! Where did you get all of the RPF signage?

Many thanks for the Compliment :thumbsup All the signs were sourced here in the UK by Si and Rob from RS props.

As you can see they really made the whole display that much more Professional looking
