UK PROP PARTY BIRMINGHAM November 2012

Really looking forward to this one now. Should be able to make the Saturday night do for a few pints.

Terminator, I would be happy to donate some of charity funds to this :thumbsup

Simon, would it be ok if I fetched a charity bucket with me? It is for my mate's daughter who needs a life changing operation in America next year at the cost of £45,000. Also noticed on the memorabilia web site that Michael Behien will be there, do you think that we will be able to get photo's with him with the T1?

Normally we raise funds for a chosen charity each time we do a Prop Display, the last one in Manchester we chose Jo's Cervicle Cancer Trust so i see absolutely no reason why we cant raise funds for you.

I absolutely quarantee you will get people over the weekend asking if they have to pay to view the props, of course we dont charge for this but what we usually do is politely ask people if they wouldnt mind donating to our chosen charity, so basically bring with you the relevent information and we can set a table aside purely for this reason.

how does that sound

It warms my heart that we do these kind of things. I hope we will raise a fair amount for girls operation.

On another notice. Should I try to tweet Michael Biehn, and ask him, if he'd like to stop by our booth for a small photoshoot and a chat?

The shoulder pads are my first attempt at using that Ironman Favourite , foam . I used camping mats , superglue , and aerosol paints.
The helmet is Termight Replicas one that I repainted myself.

Hopefully by the show I will have constructed a display stand for it all .
See you there folks !!

Dont forget we sell RPF t-shirts for this event and it is hoped that everyone would contribute so that we are at least representing one of the branches from the Tree ie RPF, TDH and the Hunterslair..

are there any of you driving from London or somewhere reachable from Stansted Airport?

My friend and I was planning to take the train from Stansted Airport to Birmingham International, but we have to switch train 2 times, and it's ridiculously exspensive .... so I just wanted to check if it might be possible to hitch a ride (our luggage will only be two trolleys) ..

We'll arrive at Stansted around 7. in the morning, so I guess we could be in london around 8-8.30

If a ride isn't possible we'll just take the train :)

Hey catfoodrob that dredd stuff looks cool one of the best ive seen as I really like the comicbook dredd, was thinking of doing a judge death helmet myself as something different.

I don't think we have any London Members coming to the show :confused i am almost certain you should be able to get a connecting flight from stanstead to Birmingham but double check on those trains ...............

hey guys

Please dont forget your T-shirts if you have them (i will have a couple spare for sale on the day) and also table cloths Dark blue or Black, most important are your ' please do not touch' signs ..........

I will update you all as the days count down.

i have now submitted my list to the organisors however there is still room for anyone else wanting to come along and display

I haven't been to find any connecting flights. Doesn't really bother, since I don't really feel like getting my fragile models handled by airport security more than twice :-/

We'll either take the train, or perhaps rent a car (just have to get used to the idea of driving in the wrong lane ;-) )

If the ironman is a mannequin (which is prefered) then all your flyers and cards will go on a general advertising Table, if your Ironman is in Kit form then we can lay this out on tables with your flyers and cards

For the show you will need Table cloths Black or Dark Blue, Do not touch signs and you will be able to purchase a T-shirt from me on the day :)
