U-Wing Revell 1/100 scale model build

Just finished building my Revell U-Wing Gunship model. I pretty much did it straight out of the box. I know it's not a completely accurate model, but still cool looking. I made some new guns from aluminum tubing. I also did get some 3d printed engines and the rear grill. And I added some styrene walls with paper printed ship patterns to block some of the interior pegs seen through the lower windows. That's about it for mods.

Beautiful! Will there be a video on your channel as well? I love the U-Wing and have one of these kits in my stash. What did you use for the stand mount?

Thanks for the compliments. I know I could've easily gone all out and modified to be more accurate, added lighting, etc. But it actually is a pretty decent kit to begin with. A fairly simple ship, but nice design. And as Pcoz said, a little weathering goes a long way toward making a ship look more realistic.

I'm more interested in how you did the stand. I'd rather have mine shown "in flight" as well....but amazingly enough, even when searching for "Revell U-wing display stand" online....there are ZERO results. lol

The stand was just a piece off aluminum tubing and a wood base. All painted black. Very easy
