I've never posted any work here so hope you're all liking what I'm up to.
This is a great forum BTW:thumbsup
This is a build I've actually been getting through quite quickly (for me)If you don't count when I puttied all the seams....that was over three years ago. Anyway heres some pics detailing the build up to now. Enjoy
Firstly the model is covered in a dark grey primer, than I light coat of Tamiya flat white. This white base coat is applied to the gridlines to break up the uniformity of it.

The sensor strip on the B/C deck is painted by using a piece of paper, tape just doesn't work sometimes!
Next the sensor runways are painted with the same colour as the B/C deck and a slight misting of white goes up the centre, again to break it all up a bit. Some minor aztecs are made here by use of a thin bit of sheet styrene cut into some simple shapes.
Now the main patterns are applied to the hull, these are cut of some paper. Nice. Cheap. Paper.
Now a new mix of colour is done up for the highlights and the final details.
Some minor things to do and next up will be the clear coat.
Thanks for looking!
