Tzizvvt the Brizzit WIP costume

I'm working on three costumes slowly along with other projects and Tzizvvt is one of my favorite " non-love given to" characters in the cantina. I just started working on the hands and feet . Will start the mask as soon as more clay comes in.
The feet will be similar to the hands and will have me lifted 4" off the floor. I just started working on the feet base before I throw clay onto it and finalize the form before casting them. The soles will be similar to his/it's hands as well. I wear a size 15 shoe so they had to be larger than most

I'm going to use a tan flight suit for the body and use smaller spheres to pull of the raised bumps you see all over. I have a friend making the western styled belt for me to fit the costume. he is a leather working and I'm trying to get it as close as possible.

The head will be an original sculpt. Still figuring out the eye portions of the costume as well. Plan on making the mandibles move as well with cables running through to one of my hands. Will be using horse hair for the hair around the mask . ( already have it in hand)

below are the feet rough structure before adding clay and fine tuning. I want to thank Tom Spina for his images on his site and yourprops.com for reference . I wish I lived close so I could see them in person. I plan on sending him a set of hands and feet when they are finished just as a thanks for the help he has given all the " up and coming prop masters" over the years.

started carving it down before adding clay. just takes a few minutes with a good knife. I will use the same one for both feet. Just have to get it centered ( hands will be the same way as well.)
