This is pretty much the most accurate version to get, of all of the store bought versions, isn't it? I was thinking of converting it to look a bit more accurate than it is and displaying it in my office.

Have there been any conversion kits made, that you know of?

Rob nailed that toy version....seriously, made it really shine, and yes thats about the best toy to rip up if your gonna do it.

Why not wait till Mike decides what he's going to do? Rob did a tremendous amount of work on his build, could be worth waiting to see if a V3 rises again.... i dont want to deflate you....go for it by all means, but it is quite a task, unless you just going for a repaint!

Thanks guys, for the comps...

The biggest chores with the conversion were as follows:
--The original nose sucked, so I had to re-build one; delayed my first build, but now I have a mold, so would take less time
--The entire R2 strip area needs to be gutted and rebuilt
--Engine cans need work; I used Max-brute casts
--Cannons need to be re-built with brass tubing
--Wings need to be locked in position and REINFORCED with squared-off brass tubing, then finished with styrene
