Trooper boots

I bought some s#*t kickers a while ago from a cheap shoes store. This http://www.skechers.com/catalog/browse.do?...styleCode=76727 is the closest I could find to what I bought. Mine don't have those stitches though as they're probably made of plastic. Anyway, I have a problem.

The boots can JUST be tucked under the shins. But after about a minute of walking they pop out. Any suggestions? The top rear of my shins are riveted. There's nothing holding the bottom together so I can fit my heals through. Any suggestions?

My boots also have those little "loops" at the top on the back and front. I've thought about rigging something up so they hold the shins down/boots up. I don't see how that'll work though since I can't exactly slip my hands under the plastic to snap/unsnap something.

get some white leather, a nice 3 inch wide strip, and shoe glue it to the top of the boot and put velcro on the ends so they attach at the back of the shoe behind your ankle/calf. Then just close the velcro together, now you have a 3 inch extension on the top of the shoe, and it wont come out anymore.

I had this same problem with the first boots I bought. They were cheap boots and were too wide at the tops, with not much flex in them and my shin armour used to ride up constantly.I put a stirrup strap inside the shins and it solved the problem. The straps was glued inside about ankle height, and was long enough to allow me to pull the shins up enough while I slipped on my boots and enough tension to keep them from riding up.Hope that helps :)

I had the same thought just before I fell asleep last night. I also thought about putting some shims on the back side. I think a wider ankle would let gravity hold them down. I'm going to try stirrups first though.

Thanks all.

I did the exact same thing and it works like a charm.
