Trooper Armour Seams

Still putting together my AP set of armour, and have just come to trimming test fitting the biceps.

These seem to be a long way in regards to butting up nicely, has anyone else found this?

Have you any tips for this section? How wide should the strip be to go over the arm/leg parts? Also should the two parts under the strip butt up nicely?

Can people please post some pictures of the joins in their AP armour? Thanks.
