TRON: Uprising Series Discussion

What I hope to expect in last episode:

- Tron becomes Rinzler

- Paige goes from bad to good

- We get to see Flynn again

But I doubt this is gonna happen in one episode.

* Wait, wasn't this supposed to be a 10 episode series?

11 11 "Grounded"[23] November 9, 2012 111
12 12 "We Both Know How This Ends"[24] November 16, 2012 112
13 13 "The Stranger"[25] November 30, 2012 113

Scars pt 2 was amazing! All the build up and flashbacks last week lead up to so much action in this one.
Really intrigued to find out more about Cyrus (sp?) The episodes convey so much emotion!

I've downloaded all the episodes on PSN and am waiting for the new one to pop up. Watching this series in full 1080p is flat out amazing. So much detail and life given to each scene.
If you are a fan please support the series by purchasing episodes so we can keep this awesome story going.

Warning: Spoilers ahead

Highlights of the episode for me was seeing Beck go head to head with Tron on the lightcycles and then hand to hand. The fight with Dyson did not disappoint with the tethered disc weapon adding a lot.
Still a lot of questions but we now know why CLU and Dyson had thought Tron dead.

" Paige goes from bad to good "
What is interesting with Paige, beside being utterly sexy, is that she isn't " bad ", she's just loyal to the wrong person. She does not have the same point of view as Tesler and the brownose second-in-command, Pavel. In the episode with Quorra, we see how Tesler fools her; Many times yet we saw her hesitated when she nearly adopted Beck's point of view, but the events builded around them made her revert back each time. She's not a manichean character, neither black or white. Really good character writing here. :)

OMG! OMG! OMG!!! *squuueeeeee* That was awesome!!!!111!1!!11!!! Damn, something like this should be seen in Tron 3!!!!

I'm happy to find out the actor voicing the character, Cyrus is Aaron Paul who had done a phenomenal job on AMC's "Breaking Bad" as Jesse.

I know you're not supposed to trust Wikipedia (at least that is what people say), but it claims that the first season is slated to be 18 episodes. I just hope that it continues to get good reviews (I'm not sure what the viewership has been looking like). I've been really enjoying uprising in general, but the scars episodes were great. To add to the want list for later episodes, I wouldn't mind seeing Pavel derezzed. ;)

I must admit, I didn't really care for the YO-YO disc. The only reason being that when they try and add these new things into the story "to keep things new and fresh" I always find myself wondering why nobody else uses them later in the story (ie. the movie) I'm ok with them adding new things to later chronological moments, because we can see those things as advancements. Like Rinzler and the split disc (though I still wonder what it is that actually made that possible) Anyhow, that's my take on it.

Well, when they were promoting T:U with the mobile theater they were giving away Sam Flynn discs in a type of black package with the Uprising logo.
So hopefully they realize how in demand they now are.
Until we see Disney step up and get on the merchandising for the show, we can only hope.

They can definitely release all three of them again with the K. Flynn disc being now TRON's.

Awful strange though since everywhere had it listed to air on the 9th. Hopefully this is not a bad omen.

Really strange as they were very clear at NYCC in the video I posted about nine straight episodes, break and final three in Jan.

And at least last night, the next episode is still scheduled on my tivo.

Yep, and according to Disney XD's website, episode 12 still scheduled to air this coming Friday... Curiouser and curiouser...

The series is on hold right now until Disney finds a timeslot that gets it the most viewers. This info came from Charlie Bean, the series Director.

It should be back next week.

Let down again. Doesn't make sense to air three episodes and take it away again. I checked my guide and all that is out there is On Demand. Not even re-runs on XD. :(
