Tron Legacy: Sam Flynn Hacker Phone

Just got my Nokia N8 dummy phone and my iPhone Logic board in the mail today! I've already started work on turning it into Sam Flynn's hacker phone from Tron Legacy!

I started off by peeling off the front cover so I can remove the current "sticker screen". I've seen some decent screen caps of Sam's phone so I am going to try to print one off to the appropriate size and stick it on!

This is only my third replica prop project I have ever done, so I am going to keep everyone updated with my project!

Cool,I'd love to get/make one of these! I know it's kinda doofy, but I thought it was an ingenious idea using a suction cup to get the face off.I would of ended up trying to pry it out.

Got my Sam Flynn necklace in the mail today. Thank you very much "kevinericon"!

I used a dremel to trim down the iPhone logic board. Was a bit of a surprise when chunks started flying everywhere along with some sparks. Yahoo. Be careful if you end up doing this yourself.

I also found a good screen cap of Flynn's phone and printed it off to size. Took several attempts to get the appropriate sizing. Once I had the size right I just used a sticker backed photo paper to stick it on the phone. The cover for it still had the sticky tape on it so it secured back on nice and snuggly.

Now I need to figure out a way to attatch the logic board to the phone in an aesthetically appealing way!

Any tips?

Just happened to come across this WiP thread, and had a quick question. What did you do to safely remove the screen cover? I have one of these phones, along with the correct iPhone logic board, and don't want to damage the case trying to pry it off. Any suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated.
