I just hope they are still giving out custom badges.


The one I entered will not be screen accurate, or might not even be "one of a kind" when it's all said and done, but I'm crossing my fingers.
I know it will at least be a little different than most out there.
I'll post pics as soon as I can after I get it.

Well, I can't copy the passwords and user IDs from the cracker. I copied the text by typing it out and then doing the same at the site. It's just not registering it. And I don't even get a "user login/password incorrect" message either.

Since the password cracker is Flash, you won't be able to "copy" the text for the userid or password. It's the good old fashion hand jamming into the Encom employee intranet. To double check access, I logged in as a few of the execs to with no problem (no new info since Thursday..drats!). Maybe the site was down when you tried?

Like a thousand other fanboys, I attempted to make a "K. Flynn" badge and even uploaded a pic of Kevin Flynn, but they caught it and sent an e-mail informing me that the picture couldn't be used. Apparently, they have someone looking at the pictures that are submitted? Although, there have been instances where some have slipped through the cracks.

Yep, went to the Encom company site and looked up the key players, all five are there. Use the private key interface from the e-mail in Hardington's and then click on the red e logo in the upper left corner. Go top system chat and you will get some nice information.

I've found that these are these are the only names that work so far:angry, not for lack of trying though. Hopefully more names become active.

I'm really enjoying the ARG and even spent last Thursday evening pouring over each Execs e-mails. Some of the passwords are pretty interesting. Alan's password shows his security roots, Hardington's shows his vanity and Grenwald's is just funny and lame, like the character.

Yeah, I tried the Kevin Flynn one myself. You think that he would have built in a secret backdoor into the Encom systems. It's the kind of thing a hacker like himself would do.

Actually, if Kevin Flynn has a backdoor, we're not going to get it using the Zack password cracker and entering the name Kevin Flynn. A true hacker would use an alias.
