Sorry, been waiting on LEDs from china to make my lighted prototype, then off to the junkyard for me! And yes the hollow one does fly, at least the one half I did a test paint on flew almost 50 feet!

I remember playing "Tron" as a kid and throwing our frisbee around with reckless abandon. My mom made me stop after I nailed my little brother in the forehead.
haha.. what is sad is that your story is the story of so many of us..
indeed, i was the little brother who got nailed in the head by my older tron obsessed brother.
only to later do the same to my other brother!
And the cycle continues..Great work on this, can't wait to see it lit up!

Sorry folks, my job and my family got complicated for a bit there. I have the LEDs and had to retool a little since thinking about how to make it a practical frisbee that won't break when it hits something or someone.:lol But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can pull it all together quickly now. Thanks again for the continued interest, it keeps me on my toes.

This looks fantastic, count me in for one as well.
So, after being sidelined by other stuff (war machine costume) I've decided I'm going to offer up the shell by itself, you can then make your own electronics for lighting. At this time I'm going to start an interest thread in the junkyard, if your all still interested, then head over there. I will keep working on one with electronics, but it will probably come out much later. Thanks again for everyone's intrest in this "quick attempt.":lol

On a lighter note, I had a dream about being on the new game grid the other night and I couldnt get the disc to turn on... Not even kidding... threw it at my opponent and it just fell to the ground. He laughed and kicked it back at me! I woke up REALLY wanting one!
