Tron Legacy CLU Costume (WIP)

Greetings programs,

Just started working on my CLU costume from Tron Legacy.

The basic costume is made from a roll of foam camping mat.

Not worked with this medium before but inspired by all the Iron Man costumes out their made using this stuff.

Going to use reflective tape for now to keep costs down but I might upgrade it later with EL tape if I really like the end result.

It looks like your doing a great job.
What are you planning on painting it with? Plastidip?

I'm unlikely to be painting it - i'm covering it with craft foamie sheet which is very similar to neoprene.

This also is helping to hold down the reflective tape which might lift other wise.

I've done a bit more and done a test photo to see try out the yellow reflective glow.

Going to be making the full suit with helmet too.

I've done a cheap disc for now which I may upgrade with the Rinzler one when I can pick one up at reasonable price.

I've also started on a foam helmet which I hope to show pics of soon.

I agree with the above, very cool, I may try this myself (I have a raw CLU helmet cast coming in a few months, may as well do the costume to go with it :lol).

Do you have any templates you'd be willing to share?
