Well....The metal hero as far as I can tell is just highly polished aluminum (but I can't be 100% sure without physically holding it). All the stunt sabers were vacuum plated chrome resin, and that's often what you see on screen.

Nothing new to report just yet. I've been sick as a dog the past few days. Apparently there's some kind of super bad stomach flu going around out here that I managed to get.

The list is now closed, and materials are being ordered. The aluminum is coming from a local supplier, so that should arrive fairly quickly. The Acetal, however, needs to be shipped, and I'm not yet sure on that time frame. I'll try to get all the info asap.

No worries about time frame. Anyone who was in on your first saber knows good things take time.

Sorry, guys. Had a complete and total computer melt down due to a hijacking and virus. Had to do a total HD wipe and OS reinstall. Just got back online today. I'll have some progress very soon. Materials are coming in, and I'm doing a quick internal blueprint tweek for better structural soundness for the duelers out there. Though the machinist will be starting immediately on unaffected parts as soon as he finishes up the job he's just about finished with (last minute rush order).

Sorry this has been getting off to a slow start, but once it gets going, it should go quick. I'm already working on blueprints for the next saber, so I can get that run going immediately after this one.
