Trek Classic Medical Scanner Mark I

Already have, back to Dennis it goes
That's a shame.
a friend of mine (who is on this board and can speak up if he wants) received his and the acrylic was crooked. He sent his back to be replaced/repaired.

Some inconsistency is expected with this being such a limited run by a couple of guys, so hopefully these are the exception rather than the rule. They seem to be responding really quickly and supporting their product though, so that's a good sign.

Mine's been running like a top since I got it and I haven't had to charge it yet. Very happy with it. Sorry you guys got a couple of bad ones--hopefully they'll fix/replace them for you.

Since I got my repaired scanner back last Friday I have yet to charge it and I've been playing with it every day since just to make sure it still works. They were very quick to respond to me when I emailed them about it and then fix it once they got it.

I emailed Roger about some issues with mine, said he's forwarded it to his engineer ... haven't heard anything since

I don't know what to tell you other than to say they are probably very busy and you should reach out to him again.

I've had a reply and cleared up all concerns except one. They say it's normal to hear the internals move slightly as you change angles but everyone else has said theirs is solid (as my original D Stines is) and it's more than slight movement. Sent a video over and their going to take a look. Also for anyone interested he gave me the battery replacement guide and what battery to use etc. They sell them also.

I received my medical scanner a couple weeks ago, and overall I’m loving it—great build quality and I’m digging the clear and varied sound effects. Question though: I know people mentioned hearing the motor, however I’m also hearing a slight clicking sound while it’s rotating (about 3 to 4 per second). I’m not sure if it comes across clearly on the video, but is anyone else noticing this? Is it worth contacting Roger?

That's great. Thinking back on it I don't have any way of knowing if they fixed mine or just gave me a new one with the original number p!ate. Either way I was very happy with them service.
