I’ve had this prop bouncing around in my head for 20 years, and I finally decided to make a replica. This is the Priest’s Treasure Map from 2002’s “The Count of Monte Cristo.” Dantés follows the map to find the lost Spada family treasure, which he uses to seek vengeance against all who have wronged him.

The replica is hand-inked and painted on aged leather. Similar to the Goonies map, it features a piece of string that can be used to roll it up. I painstakingly used screen captures for reference.

I‘ve searched the RPF and other forums, but I’ve never seen someone tackle this — unless I somehow missed it? A memorable prop and a fun project.
