Ya know, the whole moon landing as a covert alien surveillance mission is a neat concept. That said, it is Michael Bay. He fooled me once with Transformers 2. It will be on HBO soon enough.

I actually kinda liked the looks of this one... but than again I didn't really care for the first two. Also I was never much of a Transformer fan as a kid. Just going by the trailer, this movie has the following things going for it:
1. it's in the 60s (I'm tired of "present day movies")
2. it's science fiction, taking place *in* outer space/ the moon
3. I didn't see any teenagers in the movie (so far)
Of course watch, the movie will be nothing like the trailer LOL

Actually its a big part of the movie,...ive been following it pretty close since the early draft of the script. Even had two set visits.
The first 15+ minutes takes place in the past in the 60's, they even have Kennedy in it. It sets up the story and incorporates the space race between us and Russia. After that it jumps to present day.

From what I have heard, and read from part of the script, and from set visits - no dinobots. Same reason they werent in the second one. They couldnt justify putting them into a movie, but they did put a sort of insecticon in the second one (when they were in Eygpt)

Actually I think this one looks really bada** so far! Everything i've read about it, without spoilers is that this one is supposed to be a very grim tone and darker than the others.
Looking forward to seeing what they do with this. Loved the first one. Second one was eh.... Who knows, third could be the charm!
