Too Excited Not To Share My First Predator Mask & Mod

here as an update on the mask & bio as well as the plasma cannon I'm working on too
wanted a little change in color

made these quills out of foamies dipped in black Plasti-Dip, might have to trim them down though

made three cannons before I finallly decided this was the one to go with

still need a couple extra things on it but I think I'm done for the day lol

those quills really turned out nice, you know this is such a cool obesession once you get started on something its really hard to stop . i think that im done with something then low and behold i see a photo of something and the changes begin anyway, looking good my friend

thank you sir, today I should be getting the longer teeth for it and put those in, I also gave the mask a more furrowed look and will be airbrushing some highlight to it as well. I will be toying with the feet too and see what I can come up with

Very nice. I never put any quills on my mask, but looking at yours has inspired me to go ahead and do it.

I like the plasma cannon too.

it's not the spray, it's the dip and i'm doing it in my garage where I paint cars lol, so i have plenty of ventilation

My idea for cheap quills----get one of those "squoosh" balls, the kind with all the long skinny spiky thingies sticking out all over. Like this:

I've seen these in pet shops as dog toys, and also in toy shops, for just a couple of bucks.

Paint it black if it ain't black already. Use snippers to cut off the spines. Voila, quills. I'll try it out and see how it works.

yep, I saw those and thought about doing that too after I had cut them out of the foamies if they didn't look good but they came out pretty decent

she's finished with the suit itself just adding the foam muscles underneath then I'm bringing it home to airbrush the spots & highlights on it

hey also wanted to let you know when your in the market for some great quills there is a guy on ebay who i believe is a lair member selling them,those are the ones i used on my mask and love them.i tried all kinds of different things and really couldn't find anything that would stand up to the abuse of putting on and taking off of the bio.

the foamies ones I made for the Rubies mod are good enough for now, I don't want to spend money like that on a cheap mask like this, would rather it go to a good quality one
