This has sort of been brewing as “busy work” while stuff happens in my life. I took a stab at sculpting a master of the mystery DV6 control box.

I had, at some point, found a 5CW Royal Air Force Toggle Switch with the exact same wire access design. The holes were a little larger and further apart but all the same.

Since this was a bust, I chopped it up in an attempt to make it into a close approximation of our box, and ended up getting out the styrene and JB weld to finish the sculpt. And the Bakelite DID crack but I bonded it back together and it sanded really nicely

Now over got one more JB Weld patch to shape, and I’ll hit it with more BBQ Black!

Nice job Tom :)
annoying eethan unwanted recommendations: please absolutely make sure to wear a really good mask when sanding bakelite.

5C/877 is the switch I found, that is NOT a match, but the first time I've seen those double wire access holes on anything lol

I have a couple boxes of N95 particulate masks from the height of COVID19 here, and I've been using those. It stinks to all hell, even when im done my clothes reek!

Think a 2 wire access switch would be a 12V so only used on early war aircraft.Only thing I an think of is look through British cockpits.Another resource is this.
