To weather or not......

I was thinking about the upcoming EE Solo, which is supposed to be "pristine" and wondered how many people here will be weathering theirs for a more "screen correct" appearance? I doubt I will, though it will be tempting.

It IS supposed to be pristine?. :confused I didn't even know that much....why the heck would they do that with such an iconic blaster. I'd take shoddy factory weathering over none, only because I'd be hesitant to weather it for destroying its collectible value.

Oh well...............

Yup, according to info from the MR site.

Never-before-seen details
Die-cast metal construction
See-through scope
Real wood grips
Machined steel replica MG81 booster/flash-suppressor
Pristine paint finish
Museum quality display case with mirrored base and acrylic cover
Prop story, numbered plaque and Certificate of Authenticity
Limited to 1250 pieces worldwide

Even with the painted weathering on the original LE, the rest of the gun finish looked pretty good to me. I'm sure I'll be highly impressed by the new blaster body and the new details, weathered or not. :) I'm getting damned anxious and hope we get to see some new pics of this thing pretty soon.
