Another unfortunate, the balls from the Rubix Tower are too big. I got one and tried one of the balls and it was too big. That ball on the drone has to be 6mm or less in size.

6mm is too small, that'd make it the size of the tube above it. In my digital, I have the ball at 1cm. It is very close.
There are a number of variations on that toy. Likely not one of the eastern european versions, but still... ;-) I also looked at the entrapment game, which iirc doesn't have the ridge on the ball.

Does anyone reading this thread have a Revell 1/96 Saturn 5 model kit? if so, could you measure the size of the small round ball tanks used on the second and third stages? I just had a thought that maybe one of those could be the ball tank we are looking for.

I was looking at the early TOMY robots like Chatbot, Spotbot, ect. as a couple of them have remotes to make them operate. Could be possible parts for the small add on parts. Just an idea.

Yeah certainly. Thinking about toys with gears etc. That was a prime era for this sort of thing and so we've got our work cut out for us ;-)

Textures are ready to get this out of a texture package and over for lookdev.

For The rear back sticker l read

The way each line is justified, i suspect the original sticker was cut short

Excellent, yeah the first word looked like FACE to me too, but I couldn't quite make more sense out of it as a whole... no idea on the other two words on the side one... the hunt continues.

Ah on the back one I have PROTECTOR and CONTROL.

Here's the go that I made at the DANGER font. The kick on the N is only on one side, but I'm going to leave it on all til I can sort out why it should/shouldn't be there. Might make the E's linework a touch heavier.

for the side sticker, I am hoping it to was cut down from a larger one as well, as it doesn't look coherent by it self.
that said, i see comething like:

Textures look great! I received the TOMY Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Crane and it is the correct size and shape but is made of plastic. I have to remove the metal rivet that is holding the crane boom parts together before I can add it to the build.

After looking at the prop photos it appears that the crane part was cut away from the toy so that is what I did. It fits the main body of the drone as in the photos so I'm going with it as is.

Terrific. Not sure if you're going to light it, but there are at least 9 on it; might be more underneath, but I can't make out any actual hint of such.

I will probably simulate the lights. There are four screws on the bottom that hold the top and bottom halves together. I have to open them up to cover the slots in the top as they are open into the interior. The "back door" does not open enough to get at the openings well enough.

Thankfully the whole is a really simple thing to take apart. I'll light mine (you know, when I actually let myself get to it), but uncertain if I'll do so in a way that requires four separate power switches, heh. ok mayyyybe.

I know this ship and I feel like I’ve seen pics of the original studio model with its Gillette nacelles. I can’t find it though. Was this in 11001001?
