I've seen some people already have seen it in their city.
Near me, its playing next Sunday and again that Wednesday.
Never got to see it in theaters, despite watching many times now.

Trying to get a friend I know to go along...but might just have to go see it alone if he's busy.

Found this poster, but the dates seem to be all over the place, so just need to check with local theaters just incase.

Shucks, had I not lived 5000 miles from you, I would have gone with you.
That movie is an evergreen if I ever saw one (and I do have this one on dvd).
Please go see it on my behalf & enjoy ! This one is for keeps.

Might I add my personal 2 cents and say that this Jim Henson version was never topped by Michael Bay’s franchise…or the sequels for this one for that matter.

Thanks for sharing !

And here I thought the Marvel Universe would be farther away.....lol.
I would be honored to have you along, if distance weren't an issue.

The first movie is just so well made, being an independant made film, and how they blended elements from the comic and 1987 cartoon.
Too bad so many parents complained, so they made the 2nd one much more comical....but I still loved it as well, and Super Shredder...can't go wrong there.

Yeah that first 1990 movie was a very good piece of work IMO.

It tried to be a certain thing, which was just the right thing to please the viewers, and it nailed it. It struck a good balance between the darker comic TMNT versus the kid-friendly cartoon show.

As for the second one?
Well . . . Vanilla.

It's such a cool movie. Just sad the movie studio refuses to release a better bluray with the unseen extended cut and extra features the director wants to release.
