By the way, has anyone else tried the microwave method? I don't have a heat gun so I might go with microwaving it but I'm abit afraid haha.

Guys, so I just tried both using a hair dryer and microwaving my frames. This is how it went.
Hair dryer: This is awesome. Worked just fine I
Microwave: The first time I microwaved it took 2 minutes. I stopped the microwave at 1:00 minute and 1:30 minute to check if the frame was ok. I felt like I didn't shape it quick enough (it cooled before I finished). I also spotted something like an air bubble trying to pop out of the frame, like a mini ballon inside the frame. So after I let it cool, I put the frame in the microwave again for 2 minutes without checking and, BOOM, this is what happened.


Just wanted to share with you guys how microwave method went for me. Maybe it works well for those who are careful enough but I was too careless :facepalm.
I'm definitelygoing to order a replacement. :eek

omg I feel terrible , I think I was the first one to suggest a microwave , and now it has destroyed your lense , did u let it cool completely before u re heated it ?

Nah don't feel bad, man. As I said above, I was too careless (and we probably had the different settings on the microwave).
But it's ok, I can still use this frame as a damaged Spidey version, haha XD

So I've had a fair number of people contact me who have been added to the list for a kit. If you are still planning on getting one then please contact me to arrange payment. They are being sent out in order of payment received and I am not going to be tracking everyone down who expressed interest.

As for everyone I contacted on the original finished set, if I have not heard back from you by this weekend I will be removing names from the list.

Trying to keep things moving forward.

hey everyone, wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions with my tjack mask.. i worn it to a con this weekend but the mask keeps moving up to where the lenses don't align with mask. I kept on having to pull my mask down and readjust the lenses.. anyone else have a problem with this? I was thinking maybe attach stronger magnets to the lenses?

if your mask is sliding up then I don't know that there are any issues with the lenses, sounds more to me like the suit doesn't fit you quite right.
