So i have just finished assembling the kit and i can say it looks incredible, Tjacks instructions make it extremely comfortable to complete the kit without any worries!View attachment 332206View attachment 332207View attachment 332208
Very simple if you follow the step by step instructions, so basically what i did was paint the frames using gloss black spray paint, then a few coats of clear coat to give them a bit of a shine, i would say the hardest part of the assembly is applying the plexiglass and mesh to the lenses because you have to trim the excess material away so that the lenses will sit flat and fit in the dents on the faceshell.
if anyone has any questions about the kit i am happy to answer, if its okay with Tjack of course
Wow, those came out great! How hard was it to get the eye positioning?
Easier than you would think, it is basically fool proof if you put the lenses together properly eg, bend the frames accurately, glue the mesh correctly in place
Sorry to ask so many questions but what tools did you require? I had to give away all of mine when I relocated to Korea.
Its all good all questions are welcome, anyway the only things i used were a hot glue gun, pair of scissors, knife, and a microwave. I found that if you heat the frames up in a microwave for 2 mins they become soft and mould to the faceshell a lot better than boiling them in water or over a stove, as well as they don't get as hot so u don't burn the hell out of your fingers
That just sounds sketchy, but that is a pretty good idea, at least I know now I wont burn the house down.
Just wanted to post up a reminder to those of you currently on the waitlist.
As previously mentioned, once your turn comes up on my list, I will contact you in regards to the payment details. Due to the current number of people looking to get a combo, if you do not reply to my message within 5 days, you will forfeit your spot in line and I will move on to the next person. I am on day 5 of the group I contacted May 27 and not a single person has returned my message (I've checked, all 5 of them have been online since my message was sent).
So come tomorrow, I will be contacting the next group of 5.
Also a reminder that kits are available to past customers and established members (pm me) which only have a week wait.

Hey man awesome job! But I was wondering did you have to glue the the mesh with the plexiglass or was it already glued because I am curious of as to how it was glued or however it was put together.
Thanks!

Hey Aaron you don't actually have to glue the mesh , you get 4 pieces of plexiglass so 2 for each lense and u sandwich the mesh between the 2 bits of plexiglass so the only gluing u have to do is around the edges of the plexiglass to seal them together , I hope I explination helps you haha
