With the kit you would probably have to cut eye holes, drill for magnets etc, right?

If I did offer just the lenses they would only be to those who already have a combo.

Yes, with the kit you would need to do all the work. I'd only be supplying the parts.

I feel that the kit is a great idea. With the wait list being really long, selling a kit might sell faceshells and lenses faster. And you can't argue with the price. If you are going to sell a kit count me in. I am VERY interested. I have also bought from you before and have been on therpf for more than a year

Alright, it's official, I will be making kits available to help speed up the waitlist. I updated the first post with the info.

The kit will be $135 USD + shipping and will come with the blank shell (no eye or breathing holes), unfinished lenses and frames, all parts to assemble the lenses, and magnets for both the lenses and shell. And of course I will also include a tutorial on how to assemble them.

The only thing you will need to get is paint if you should choose to paint and clearcoat the frames. FYI, I do this as part of the finished combo.

Now the kit is ONLY available to previous customers of mine, or members who have been here for at least a year. I may consider newer members if they have a referral from another established member. Please do not get offended if I decide not to sell you a kit.

If you are currently on the waitlist for the finished combo and want to get a kit instead, please let me know and I will update my list. I will still be making 2-3 finished sets per week, but should be able to get about 5 kits made per week as well.

As a lot of you have found out, I have made the kit available to most new members without requiring any sort of referral. However, please do not get offended if for whatever reason I have chosen not to sell you a kit.

That's awesome for customers that are still waiting and want to try their hands at completing a kit!:thumbsup can't wait to receive mine! Tracking says this monday! so exciting! counting down these final hours before it arrives! opcorn i'd love to see you start offering the lenses to people who have the set as you mentioned (maybe) looking into doing earlier! anxiously looking towards a final thought from you on that somewhere down the line! thank you for being so accommodating towards your customers TJack!:$

Alright, well I'm personally really stoked for this but just asking. Would there be any chance that you could post a few pics of what the entire kit will consist of as is? I really want to see (When one's ready of course). This is going to be awesome! I'm in on one no matter what. Nothing can change my mind. Haha.

TJack is incredible. Not only does he work, have a family, make lenses, make face shell combos but he is now trying to accommodate everyone do they can get one by offering a kit. Oh did I mention he replies to everyone within a couple days. I cannot think of another RPF member except yepimazombie that's this awesome. Big thanks from me and probably everyone here.

I'm working on the tutorial today so I will put up a pic of all the pieces.
calisis271 - they will be shipped flat - just like the other frames, you will need to lightly sand the edges and do any shaping/painting yourself.
