So i see everyone taking that bulb contact tab and flipping it around and using the long rounded end in the emitter. But doesnt this look more like the triangle end, or just an entirely different piece? The sides are not parallel.

Sir, I think your on to something! If you look at other reference it looks like the nub is on the other side.

The nub that originally holds it in!

I noticed that too, but haven't said anything about it, yet, because I haven't REALLY started working on mine.

But yeah, it even looks too wide to be the tapered end of that part. So either they reshaped the fat end, or used a different part. Or, it IS the tapered end, and my eyes are playing tricks!

If they did use the “nub” end I think they sanded the top down.. it comes far too much to a point the way it is out of the 2773

Wasn't sure if this had been mentioned before, but I was looking around last night for a Graflite so I could begin building mine. For the emitter shroud I noticed on some of the Graflex cases that the metal pieces look fairly similar to the shape of the shroud. Is it possible one of these was cut up for the shroud?
