Tinting/colouring led lights....possible?

I ordered a string of white led christmas lights for my PL Big E...can the whie lights be coloured either with transparent paints or gells?

They sure can. Paint them with a little Tamiy clear (insert color here) and you will be fine. I have also heard of people using gels to get the effect they want.
