Tiger & Bunny Suit (armored ver. WIP)

aahhhh, sorry for not posting anything in a while peoples.
Unfortunate for my prop hobby University has started again and I'm swamped with work even though it's my second week back. I mak games so I hope you can understand I will be slower making my pep files.

That being said, this is my first ttempt at pep making, once I'm finished I will release the files to anyone wanting them. I apprciate all the support coming from this thread and have seen some awesome stuff from different people.

I look forward to seeing all your work and hope I can do something for you all soon.

,Dave.

Dave,

I'm very happy to see you have'nt stopped your build as your work is a breath of fresh air. Meaning you're doing something new and your work is very very good. Best of luck to you at University and your build.

Here's more pics! Gauntlets have gotten their first layer of primer on. Next will be chrome paint, then sealing!

I've been busy with work lately, but I've built up the angle on the helmet's back fin with a layer of paper mache. Will be bondo-ing that up soon.

Welp, I debuted Wild Tiger at New York Comic Con on Saturday; it's just the first version but I wanted it to be finished in time for me to be the main attraction of the Tiger & Bunny screening and to have my helmet signed by the show's chief producer Masayuki Ozaki :)

Dei> i haven't give much a look right now but i'll definitely check it out. thanks

sorry for the lack of progress. school has decided to rear its ugly head, and throw me headlong into midterms and assignments. i might not be able to work on this until the new year.

also, great work heine. what did you use for the eye holes? i don't think i've seen that tinting style before.

looks like mirrored sunglasses. same ones i put in my EOD helmet, and presently wearing. the glasses, not the helmet... that would just be weird...

Great job, Heine! I'm mad I didn't end up going to NYCC, because seeing a proper T&B Armor costume would have been worth it!

I started working on my Barnaby hero suit over the weekend. I'm attempting a papercraft method without the actual papercraft [bad idea...?], so it's taking me a while to build up the armor symmetrically, but I'm also tackling the most complicated part of the costume first so hopefully I'll get into the swing of things soon.

I'll try and update again after this weekend, since that's when I'll finally have time to focus on it again between classes!

Also, I figured you guys might want to see the newly released images for the Darkness!Barnaby hero suit from episode 22-23.

I don't know about you, but I'm REALLY resisting the urge to make this version instead! Perhaps after I make his original armor...

THAT. IS. COOL. I might actually buy this one, but my wallet is pretty much dead from Wild Tiger, Barnaby, and Rock Bison's SHFs. Meh, I might. Why havent they released a Lunatic yet!? Still waiting for him.

Anyway, for Halloween, I'm going as school!kotetsu(wild tiger), so I'm gonna go to school with a green hoodie, kotetsu's mask, the beard, the accessories, and his helmet

Looks so good!!! I can't wait to see the finished suits, expecially Tiger suit!!! :)
I have a friend who work with pepakura, in you want, i can ask him for help!!
however, can you share your spectacular work? (if you want ^^)

Haha, exactly right, those were a pair of gold-mirrored sunnies I had laying around, they seemed to do the job nicely. Also, I actually didn't use a pep file for the armor, since there aren't any to be had, but I found that modifying an Ironman helmet pep file did the trick for the helm; I'll be making another version of this helmet, this time to make the faceplate actually hinge up and back like it does in the anime. I don't feel like taking the one I have at the moment, since I don't want to damage the autograph :)

Really doing great job I am very excited about your project.Sure it will take time. But really excited to see tiger suit. All the best for your job......

Hi! i found, if you want, the complete 3d model of Bunny (and soon Wild Tiger too...). The only problem is that it was created in version "MikuMikuDance" (file format: .tga .x .spa .pmd) should then find a way to convert the file in real 3D, and then in Pepakura ...

I just got into T&B myself and decided to make Bunny's suit once I get all the resources and materials together. Am happy beyond happy to see there are other fans here. :D
