Overall I find that the new suit works, but what is throwing me a bit off is that partial war skirt over his groin, for some reason I'm not really feeling that addition. I can see how that skirt would've been a great idea on the drawing boards, but seeing it in person I'm not 100% sold, doesn't ruin the suit though. I must say, the pants look a lot better this time around, they added more details on the thighs which is what the Avengers suit lacked. And as I suspected given the title of the movie and the darker direction of Phase 2, they traded a lot of the blue and bright silver in his Avengers suit for darker colors in black, gray, and darker steel.
He looks a little slimmer because of how the new cape is mounted, the extra angles where the cape attached on his Avengers suit gives the visual effect of making his shoulders wider.
Looks like Mjolnir hasn't changed since Avengers.
I'm waiting to see when the helmet cult starts to jump on the fact that everyone on the battlefield is wearing a lid except for Sif and Thor :lol
