Hard to say. There isn‘t one scene where the lighter is shown in full. So it is and was up for interpretation. I chose the 6700, that‘s why I have both now.

Any chance you could show us the bonus content photo with the lighter? I wonder if someone will be interested to recreate the blueish graphic to match the real version of lighter/lighters.

The picture of the lighter in the game is shown in my posts #15 and #17.

Ah! I see now, the very top comes forward to the barrel, showing that it can't swing out like the later models.

it's a surprisingly good match for the original design patent. I wonder if that's what the 3d artist used as a reference.

I'd be interested if anyone could source a maker for the design to be put onto an IMCO lighter, or the lighter with the design on it already...It would be a fun little addition

Yeah, I did the same thing and screencapped the art from the extras in the game, and that's an option for sure, although I've not tried that in Japan before so not sure where to start...I'll have a think..I suspect a sticket would look a little cheap...Perhaps

I created the Vatican Order stamp in an undistressed and distressed version as well as the City of Vatican seal. I used AI for distressing. Both can be used for the letters Indy is collecting.
Based on my research is the Vatican Order Stamp 40mm in diameter and the City of Vatican is 45mm in diameter.

I believe it’s the 4700.
If you compare the picture to the body shape it more similar to the 4700 - at least to me.
And, to strengthen my assumption you should know that IMCO patented the 4700 in 1936.
Now, that would still be too early to have produced them in 1936, lat alone finding them in a **** hole bar in Nepal.
But it could have been possible that one of some pre patent models existed before 1936 and one of them has been gifted to Marion or her father which gave it to her.
At least that’s how I would explain it to me.
And so I believe now it is the 4700 and not the latter 6700 which superceded the 4700 in 1956. And since the Indy movie prop makers always try to acquire rare real world props - or have the tendency to do it - the 4700 would also fit more into the picture. Simply because it is older and harder to get.

I created the Italian Military stamp which you see on some inserts.
Using the version from the digital art book I converted to vector and cleaned up a little bit. Afterwards I looked up the correct font. At least I think it is the proper one.
The Italian military inserts seem to fit on a 8.5 x 11 inch US letter proportion wise. From that I estimate the diameter for this stamp to be 40mm.

could you attach a headon scan of the sticker? Been dying to get one to put on my own lighter.The lighter in the game is a modified IMCO 4700 lighter imho. It‘s the only model that has the handle attached to the round part. But it‘s squashed to the proportions of a 6700 junior. The sleeve design doesn‘t exist as well like that and I talked to an IMCO collector. So it‘s either the 6700 junior with a different handle or a 4700 with different proportions.
