Thor Movie Chest and Arm Armor Mounted 5/19/11

Hey Everyone,

By now alot of people know I made a Thor Movie Chest. It just didnt seem complete to me without the arms, soooooo I made the arms! They are full wrap latex arms!!

And now the arms to the vest

These are not glued down just taped together and slid on my arm like a sleeve! Im planning on painting up a chest and a pair of arms at somepoint and gluing them to a Shirt! Thanks to those of you who have asked me for these, you guys really pushed me and I think they turned out great!

Thanks Man!!!!

I currently do not have any plans on doing Loki unless someone commissions me to do so!! Its the only reason I did Thor, LOL!!
Now I think I may have to make a Thor for myself as Im very pleased with the results!!

Ok so I got the Chest mounted yesterday and prepped the arms! I will hopefully be attaching them this week!

Ok Guys and Gals

Last night I mounted the arms to the undershirt! Turned out awesome!
Its on the DTD in most of the pics but you will notice the pic in the lower left hand corner Ive got it on!! The upsidedown duct tape was assisting me in helping the glue dry! Once the duct tape came off and the arms were seamed they layed really nice!
I will get a good photo of this tonight!

Question- what is your process? are you creating molds and pouring latex over them? what latex are you using? do you hae any tutorial videos and or threads?Thanks for any info you can present.

I do all of my design in cad, cut my masters on CNC, make plaster molds fill them with latex, pull the latex and mount them to an undersuit!

Sorry I do not have any tutorials as it is nearly impossible to show someone hot to do cad or use a cnc with all the different programs and machines that are out there!

As for the latex I use Monster Makers Latex
