When they set a film or TV show in my home town and obviously filmed it somewhere else.
I feel that same way, except for the whole state of Florida.
Ok, so not a movie, but I feel this topic also applies to TV shows.
And this meme sums up how I feel about The Walking Dead. I do love that show, and I go to Walker Stalker Con. But, c'mon! Really?

And in scenes where they "go on a run" and end up in a house in the Burbs, the grass is cut there too. Really? Mowed yards might look nice, but it's not realistic.
Actually, I believe that for the prison, that the reason why the grass is like that is due to the fact that some of it may have been a high traffic area and it was mostly dirt near the road area. And due to the lack of activity, and the fall and winter months, it took some time before the grass could grow to how it's seen in the show. I figured this due to the fact in later episodes of the show, there are areas of that fenced in area that have tall grass growing, while the shorter area appears to be near the road.
What I find funny is that same Picard pic and captain is used for a shot of Andrea from Season 2 when she and Shane go to search the housing development for Sophia, the person who made the image not taking into account that the first season, as well as some of the first half of Season 2 took place within the first month of the zombie apocalypse, and that the lawns could have been mowed prior to the outbreak and haven't had time to grow. The only real indication of weeks going starts sometime after The attempt to let Randall loose, which you can see Rick and Shane's faces heal up some, and the group acknowledging that it was getting cold outside.
