I can say that when I restored the original helm console, the switch colors were not near as muted as they appeared on TV. These are the colors I matched directly from the original switches.

I don't see a huge difference between this and the tricorder disk colors. Not that I'm all that bothered either way. As I said before, just the fact that they're removable and functional has me very excited.I can say that when I restored the original helm console, the switch colors were not near as muted as they appeared on TV. The functionality goes even beyond Star Trek uses…..you can also use them for the game Connect More….a variation of Connect Four…but with additional multi-colored chips discs …..

Funny…I used that pattern in my post #988 …gif. It was very popular amongst TV broadcasting stations back in the black & white era.

If I could be serious for a moment … and truly I find that hard to do….but here goes.
I wonder how many members purchasing TWC Tricorders….will stop posting to this thread once they received their Tricorder(s)?
I wonder how many members will stick around for a few more pages in which to discuss likes and dislikes of the tricorder that will be in their possession?
I wonder if this thread will just die on the vine?
Personally …I’m not sure if I’ll hang around or not. I guess time will tell.
Perhaps a reunion in 5 years?

FYI….UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon) is the new U.S. government term for UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) they both mean the same thing in the Ufology world.
When I look at this….
It has features used in both real life UFO’s/UAP’s and Paranormal investigations…..
Audio - voice recorder for EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) to capture spirit voices
Atmosphere - temperature readings …sudden drops in temperature are a common finding when in a paranormal spirit environment
Radiation - EM field sensor….. EMF field tools are often used to detect paranormal spirit activity as well as a possible UFO/UAP presence.
Orientation - magnetometer…for magnetic anomalies that have been reported with UFO/UAP sightings.
I wonder if TWC imagined and considered the alternative uses of their Tricorder’s features as I have mentioned here.
If the tricorder can be used for UFO/UAP and Paranormal investigation…..then I’m truly jazzed because I believe in both
