The Wand Company TOS Tricorder is coming!

Yeah, I think that’s far beyond my meager skills…way too distorted.

I can see something that says “…contracted Orion venereal disease on Stardate 5718.3…”and not much else.
Someone on another site deciphered the last line:

“Captain Kirk was critically injured while assisting Captain Jean-Luc Picard during a mission on Viridian III. His body was recovered for Project Phoenix.”

Can we take the Picard discussion elsewhere, please?
Although Picard is referenced it’s more about Captain Kirk….for without Roddenberry’s Star Trek…there be no Tricorder’s and other props to collect.

But to each his/her own. Suit yourselves. Trivia is not for everyone.

Bouncing back out…

Peace

You’ve never had a spoken conversation shift from one topic to another? I get it, this is a tricorder thread, but the occasional little extra is okay, right? I mean, how many posts do we need on the wait time for ordering?
No. But I'm making a point . Stick to the topic .
Easy fellas… remember we’re all friends.

After being the last person on Earth (or so it seems) to receive the TOS Tricorder I was not sure there would be anything else to “discover”. However, I came across something no one else seems to have mentioned. It may be meaningless but at least it is something “new” to contribute to the thread.

On the inside of the Tricorder presentation box there is a white sticker with a code. Does everyone have the same code? The one in my box is“E251201”

Couple of days in and still enjoying it. LOVING the EMF detector. It's a lot more responsive than the one from the Haslab PKE Meter. I suppose if I have any kind of gripe it's that when you're playing back a log entry, you can't just shuttle onto the next one. You have to go back out to the menu and select. I also wish there was a way to trigger the sound effect when using orientation, but all things considered, this is still one FANTASTIC item. The interface is so intuitive, I feel like I picked it up in minutes and am now surfing through the functions like a pro!!
I know at some point I will have to find a permanent home for it somewhere in my collection where it will ultimately sit and I will occasionally go for it, but for now the bloom is most definitely NOT off this rose.

I’m not one for loose ends….here’s what I get….over and done with. “list of commendations” second sentence in the image are the operative word’s for deciphering the rest….plus additional research i.e. Court Martial episode S1E20 etc.

Back to Tricorder’s

Same here. I've had mine for weeks, and the display stand is still vacant because the tric is sitting next to me on my desk so I can play with it during work. And after work. And during meals. And...

Got mine yesterday; two days ahead of schedule. It very nice although one thing is bothering me and I'm not sure if it's normal or not. When ever the scanning sound plays I get a popping sound from the speaker about every second. It's not super loud but I hear it and I don't feel like I should with a prop replica of this caliber. Normal or should I go through an exchange?
