The Walking Dead - Season 6 Discussion

Ok problems with this episode... The Wolf takes the doctor hostage and everyone just hands over their guns. I remember seeing a show about U.S. snipers in Iraq/Afghanistan and the one sniper said that it's a Hollywood myth that there is a reflex when someone is shot. You know like you can't shoot because he would cut the girl's throat? The sniper said once you're shot in the brain or in the spinal cord, it's lights out. So stop it Hollywood! Second that stupid Sam kid. It doesn't make sense that Jesse (isn't that her name?) wouldn't immediately grab Sam and cover his mouth after he said "Mom?" the first time. Third in the preview Daryl should have just run those fools on the motorcycles over.

Normally I'd disagree with you by saying that most people aren't that accurate and in this situation they'd risk hitting the doc. But this is TWD where everyone in Rick's group is a crack shot and are so good that they put even the best military snipers and pistol shooters out there to shame. Considering that they routinely make head shots against walkers at longer ranges than they were at in the house and while running, they should have been able to take out the Wolf with ease; one could have shot him in the hand while the other shot him in the head.

I hope the mom shoves Sam down onto the ground, ripping his shroud off, so the walkers can eat him alive. That's the only chance for true justice in this show.

God I hate that little ****.

She's still young, there is time to try again.

On the subject of Judith, I think they should horde any liquid Benadryl they can find and just dope her up anytime they need to move her in the open.

hes also missing a part of his skull lol, comics can get away with allot more then tv/movies ;)

Which then, apparently, grows right back, no bone or skin grafts required!

I mean, I'm not saying his face is perfect, but it looks like the entire side of his eye socket and head were blown clean off, and while the comics show a wound, they don't really show how the side of his head grew back to semi-normal.

One word, magic!

I love this show, but they should rename it, the Walking Stupid. I mean Morgan goes against Carol for a freaking Wolf ! I know Carol isn't perfect but then neither is Morgan. What a dip wad, with all that stupid zen crap. And all the stuff mentioned here. Bringing two guns and a machete to a knife fight. What a bunch of concentrated stupid. Still love it , but starting to wonder why, LOL.

I was initially thinking the same thing, but it was like 10ft. away. Unless you're a horrible shot you can't miss a head.

I think Rick is going to have to kick Morgan out now. He attacked one of the group.

Yea I hope he does. I mean Morgan can ponder the arrow that is not aimed, and the sound of one hand clapping all by himself, ;) Surely he knows that some people deserve to die, especially scum bags like the wolves. If you're with a group of relatively good people and you have to choose between them and total animals, it should be a no brainer. Of course no one in the world is spotless, but there are degrees of badness. I mean doesn't Morgan know that some people just don't give a crap. He was just defending the wolf, and as soon as he had a chance, he took it. In this situation the wolf was smarter than everyone else. Still evil, but smarter. Heck, he was sitting there telling them they should kill him. I think the wolf was more honest than Morgan. If Morgan doesn't know by now what's what, he will never know. I hate that whole pacifist with a staff garbage anyway. If you don't want to kill someone, how can you wack them up side the head. You don't know if they'll survive the hit. It seems very hypocritical, like vegan's who wear leather, LOL. OK vegan people no flames, its just a metaphor.

Cheers

Joe

The problem is there are two of them. Sure you'll hit the head, but which one?:D

But this is TWD where everyone in Rick's group is a crack shot that can make headshots with a pistol from 50 yards away, while running, and shooting over their shoulder. For this group of people nailing that Wolf in the head, hostage or no hostage, should have been really easy for them, easy like shooting a similar (or large) sized target at the range from only 5 feet away easy,

and how long is she gonna survive with the wolf anyway ? im sorry but if I was there I could not of shot him either I would have been laughing to hard at a guy with a knife telling me to hand over my gun .

What about bananas? Have we done bananas yet?

Yesterday I went back and started watching season 3, and aside from how terrible everything involving the Governor is to me it reminded me about when things actually happened on this show. For better or worse at least there was character interaction, generally consisting of the whole group, and not everything felt like a bottle episode all the time. Don't get me wrong, I downright HATE some of the threads they played with in 3/4, but at least it went somewhere.

Well, it did and it didn't. I mean, let's not forget the whole "Carol killed and burned Tyrese's girlfriend, and Tyrese was gonna kill her, but then said 'Nah, it's cool.'" And the whole thing with Andrea and the Governor that just felt...stupid. I mean, I get that the actress was gonna leave the show (I'm guessing, anyway, otherwise why deviate from the comic?), but seriously, what was the point of her storyline there?

ok, Deanna had a gun to shoot herself before she turns, than she starts berserker mode and takes on alot of walkers with her revolver, wich has only six shot. bet we see more of her next episode while she chews up some of her friends

Oh I'm totally with you about a lot of the actual plot lines being completely unnecessary, I just liked that in between the stupid stuff they were having conversations about little things. "Let's make a run for food", "remember to brush your teeth", "I miss tv/xbox/whatever". It seems like every bit of dialogue now is a motivational speech, or some kind of "we're dead already" variation and it gets old. They had a great chance with 6a to tell a really exciting story with the herd and how it effects them all, but instead they've gone "Pulp Fiction" with it and the story seemingly lacks momentum. It feels like the opposite of shows where almost too much goes on and there's all these intersecting plot lines, yet it's still using those chopped up episodes and stories in the same way but without really going anywhere, which the MSF is a great example of.

I think I'm spoiled on the MSFs of the past and the big game changer events that occurred in them. I expected much more than that "cliffhanger", even though this first half of the season shouldn't have led me to thinking that way.

It was better than most episodes so far this season, at least there was some action going on. I'd really like to wait until the end of the season to binge watch it but I'm being over ruled. I have to say we were all rooting for Carl to get shot this week! ;)
